Finger Lakes Wired Scholarships Now Available
The Finger Lakes Wired Scholarship has limited funds available for businesses upgrade the skills of their workforce. Businesses in Advanced Manufacturing, Alternative Energy, Bio/Life Sciences, Business Services, Engineering, Food & Agriculture, Health Care (including not-for-profit Health Care organizations), IT, and Optics/Imaging can request up to $25,000 for training that will lead to the acquisition of industry-recognized certifications/credentials, productivity and process improvement procedures, or in-demand skills. This is a time-limited program and all training must be completed by May 31, 2010.

Please note: The Wired Scholarship program is funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL). USDOL requires that trainee participant information be collected in order to track outcomes. Therefore, all companies making an application to this program must provide us with participant information requested in the application process. Failure to provide this information will disqualify an organization from being eligible for these training funds. No exceptions can be made.
